“The gameplay is fun, with a good amount of team compositions you can compose. However, there is a grind after a certain point where you try to get the best cards (characters, equipment, etc.) through card packs which are just loot crates. While it does take time to get these, it is not impossible. Paying does make it easier, (as with nearly all free to play games) but it is far from necessary. “I do really love this game. The last update is awesome, it has improved a lot of things. However there’s something driving me crazy, and it is related to connection. In the middle of any battle shows an error message “It’s necessary to restart the game because it is not linked to..” something (I don’t remember exactly what, because automatically it kicked me out the game 😓😡). “10/5/21 update broke the game entirely. At first, it was just Faction Wars (which is bad enough) but now it’s not just the multiplayer modes that won’t work. The entire game is broken. “After reading the real reviews and having only played for 10min, it dawned on me that the reason they ruined the fighting engine such that you cant pick and choose your shots and combos is to restrict SKILL, which would negate the need to purchase any characters. A fighting game should just be pay up front and it plays like a console game or find more clever ways to monetize like selling skins that dont affect gameplay.
